Bits - Sprenger Test Center
Aurigan is a taste and not a color. It is oxidixed AURIGAN bits that produce the distinctive and pleasant taste horses love. This particular taste encourages horses to chew and produce saliva which leads to the rapid acceptance of the AURIGAN bit.
The extraordinary advantages of AURIGAN as a material for bits has been proven by scientific research. The excellent acceptance of AURIGAN in the horses mouth has been confirmed by a long term study at the U
niversity of Hanover.
AURIGAN is a special nickel free alloy which due to the inclusion of silicon, combines the oxidation advantages of pure copper with maximum strength. This is guaranteed by the unique formula and composition of aurigan which exceeds the quality of the approved German Silver.
A higher copper content in a bit material does not necessarily result in optimum oxidation. Aluminium and nickel ingredients actually inhibit the oxidation process of the metal in the horses mouth slowing down the reaction.
SPRENGER offers a wide range of bits
in AURIGAN.
AURIGAN bits ensure perfect harmony and satisfy the high demands of competition together with the expectations of ambitious leisure riders.

Stimulates the horse to accept the bit more easily.

The ergonomically formed mouthpiece lies perfectly in the horse´s mouth resulting in soft and even pressure on the entire tongue area, encouraging the horse to chew. In addition this bit supports the contact to the corners of the mouth in a very effective way, keeping the horse on the bit.

The gentle joint in the middle which is angled forward - the characteristic feature of the KK ULTRA - and the fine eggbutt design makes it a very friendly bit. The mouthpiece is made of AURIGAN, the material that activates the chewing activity of your horse.

The new DYNAMIC RS bit gives soft but very effective instructions for a better contact between horse and rider.

LOOSE RING SNAFFLE

The 2-TYPE-Bit combines the lightness of a loose ring snaffle and

the lateral pressure of an eggbutt bit. This ergonomically formed

bit lies perfectly in the horse's mouth.

In contrast to other loose ring snaffles the aids given with the reins

on this new bit reach the horse's mouth more precisely but still in

a soft way. The bit is more readily accepted resulting in prompt

and ideal chewing activity.

Gentle on the corners of the horse's mouth due to its eggbutt shape

in combination with loose rings.

This bit lies perfectly in the horse's mouth because the mouthpiece

is angled forward by 45°.

In contrast to other loose ring snaffles the aids given with the reins

on this new bit reach the horse's mouth more precisely but still in

a soft way. The bit is more readily accepted resulting in prompt and

ideal chewing activity. This new loose ring snaffle helps to prevent

tongue vices – putting the tongue over the bit often stops almost

immediately when this bit is used.
